Fight for Sight awarded Victoria Watters LeBlond its Visionary Award and
announced the establishment of the Victoria Watters LeBlond Postdoctoral
Fellowship in Neuro-Opthalmology in her honor at a reception hosted by Jane and
Randy Aversano at their home in Wellington, Florida. Tory, as she is known by
friends and competitors, is legally blind and one of the country’s top amateur
hunter riders.
Each year, the Visionary Award is presented to an individual who has made a
significant impact on public attitudes toward eye disease and the importance of
eye research.
Many thanks to the Aversanos for making the evening extra special by opening their lovely home to our guests.
